Saarang, Chennai's own cultural festival has a lineup of non-stop entertainment starting from January 9th to 13th. The event is aimed at bringing out unknown talents especially among school and college going youngsters puts them on par with professionals in the industries of arts and entertainment.

Saarang 2019 begins with a Classical night on January 9th with a rendition by Nithyashree Mahadevan followed by a Choreo Night on the 10th which is the biggest intercollegiate dance competition in South India. The 11th of Jan brings the EDM night with the world famous Maddix and Adrina and later the Comedy show by famous standup talent Abhish Mathew.

The Rock Night is scheduled on January 12th and the closing day January 13th is the Pop Night in which the rockstar Benny Dayal will perform along with his band Functuation.
