Making a record is the only saving grace for a section of film makers. This one ‘Sahishnu’ appears to be on that line after watching a lecture filled 11 minutes promo of one hour forty five minutes cinema. The record that would only satisfy for this film maker Sampath is ‘I Phone single shot cinema’.

Sampath Master in Arts and DFD graduate has written story, screenplay and dialogues. He is also actor, producer and director of this single shot film ‘Sahishnu’ in I Phone made in the banner of Silver Screen Cinemas.

This single shot I Phone shot cinema is for the first time in the world cinema claims all in one Sampath. The content of this film is a fight against injustice and killing is not the answer for everything. An activist in the film is kidnapped and a stage is set to murder. Two killers who decide to kill the activist are changed in their mindset on the ideologies put forwarded by activist. The shoot in single shot was held in and around Madikeri. The actual hours of shoot one hour forty five minutes is the content of this film. For Sampath no producer came forward to make his subject. That has made him to make the film in shoestring budget.

Vishwanath a veteran actor and director of ‘Jitendra’ Kannada cinema appreciated the effort of Sampath. He has set a platform. Whether it is right or wrong, appealing or not appealing is left to the audience he feels in his frank opinion. Ashok is another actor in this film.
