Amidst talk about Mani Ratnam signing on actress Sai Pallavi who made a sensational debut with 'Premam', the buzz is that she will play heroine to actor Karthi in the movie. Karthi had been confirmed for the movie right from the beginning itself. He has previously associated with Mani Ratnam, assisting him in his directorial ventures.

Sai Pallavi;s name has been in the air for the movie and if all fall in place she will be Karthi's heroine. Its great outing for this pretty lass who is awaiting the release of her next movie 'Kali' starring Dulquer opposite her. The Mani Ratnam movie is scheduled to begin in June.
