Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan and actor Kartik Aaryan are currently busy shooting for Imtiaz Ali's film 'Love Aaj Kal 2'. Recently, there were rumours doing the round that Sara had asked Saif to play Karthik's father in the upcoming flick.

But in a recent interview with Saif, the actor took great care to clear all rumors regarding the same. The 'Chef' actor said," I'd honestly want to play every role, provided it is interesting enough and if the time permitted it. Though Imtiaz was very kind to offer me a part in the second sequel of, 'Love Aaj Kal', I haven't signed the film contrary to the rumor."

When asked about his daughter playing the lead in the film, the proud dad said, "It's a lovely movie and I'm very excited in particular that Sara is working with Imtiaz Ali. I wish both the young actors - Sara and Kartik the best". The sequel is scheduled to hit the screens next year.'Love Aaj Kal' was a romantic-comedy film which released in 2009. The movie featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor in key roles.
