'Sairat' becomes 'Dhadak' for Sridevi's daughter

Sensational Marathi film 'Sairat', which revolves around the story of two lov birds belonging to different castes, became a major blockbuster in 2016. Bollywood`s Karan Johar had earlier bought film's Hindi remake rights.

Much to the joy of fans, Karan has announced the much-awaited project on Wednesday. The Hindi version of the film has been titled Dhadak`. The film`s poster also features the film`s lead artists Ishaan and Janhvi, the daughter of Sridevi.

Director Shashank Khaitan will wield the megaphone for this exciting project. The film will hit the screens on 6 July 2018.
