Salman Khan kick started the promotions of his Diwali dhamaka, 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', with a raas garba event in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. The 'Being Human' star was accompanied by his co-star Sonam Kapoor and appeared to be in high spirits as he started dancing, bringing back memories of his effortlessly executed moves in "Dholi Taro", which was over a decade ago.

According to a spokesperson of the film, Salman hasn't danced the garba for years and it was his suggestion that they join the festivities before navratri wound to a close.

"The fact that he was there in his much-loved Prem avatar only added to the fun and jhatkas," added the spokesperson

The crowd had a great time watching Salman Khan doing Garba in his very own style.

With 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', Salman returns to the silver screen after his blockbuster, 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.
