Recently speculations were rife that Salman Khan, who has produced Nikhil Advani's upcoming 'Hero', has been quite interfering when it came to the film's editing work. However when asked on this, the director dismissed this and revealed that in fact, Salman helped him a lot to edit the Sooraj Pancholi.

Incidentally Nikhil and Salman share good rapport from 'Salaam-E-Ishq' days together. Hence the director chose to give liberty to his actor and edit his film.

Sharing an interesting behind-the-scene incident, Nikhil in an interview said that it was he who had asked Salman to come over and sit for the editing 'Hero'; else he wouldn't be able to finish it. Following which, Salman came and sat down to watch the work in progress and suggested him to cut out thirty minutes of the film. Now the film is just 2.04 hours.

Squashing rumours about Salman's interference in the movie's making, Nikhil stated that he is quite satisfied with the actor's editing work. As a matter of fact, the director was filming 'Hero' and 'Katti Batti' simultaneously. "Hero is a producer's film, Katti Batti is a director's film," remarked Nikhil.
