Actor Siva Karthikeyan was last seen on screen in the Rajesh directed Mr Local, the comedy entertainer co-starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara, and the movie was a commercial failure. Currently the actor is waiting for the release of his next movie Namma Veettu Pillai.

Namma Veettu Pillai directed by Pandiraj has a huge cast including Anu Emmanuel, Aishwarya Rajesh, Samuthirakani, Bharathiraja, RK Suresh, Natarajan Subramaniam, Soori,Yogi Babu, Archana, Sheela Rajkumar, Vela Ramamoorthy, Aadukalam Naren and many others.

It has been revealed that Samuthirakani and actress Archana will play the parents of Siva Karthikeyan in the movie. Samuthirakani had earlier played the villain in the actor's Rajnimurugan earlier. Namma Veettu Pillai produced by Sun Pictures has music by D Imman and is said to be releasing on September 27.
