Sangathamizhan
The trailer of Vijay Sethupathi's 'Sanga Thamizhan' has just landed and promises to be the Makkal Selvan's first foray into the total out and out commercial mass masala territory. The glorification begins with the very name of the hero which is M.G. Ramachandran and then there is the jazzy songs, flying fists, the sidekick Soori and the two leading ladies Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj.
In 'Sanga Thamizhan' VJS seems to play the underdog who learns the ropes to become powerful enough to take on the political bigwig played by Ashutosh Rana. Sequences also suggest that the theme could be socially relevant one reminiscent of Sterlite.
Legendary production house Vijaya Productions is bankrolling while Vijay Chander is directing with Velraj and Vivek Mervin taking care of the cinematography and music. The movie is slated for release on October 4th.
