Multi-lingual actress Sanjjana Galrani has reportedly been summoned for questioning by the Central Crime Branch in connection with the Sandalwood drugs case. Days ago, her friend Rahul Shetty was arrested by the CCB.

A search raid was conducted at her residence in Bengaluru earlier today. According to PTI and police sources, a raid was conducted by the CCB at Sanjjana's Indira Nagar residence in Bengaluru and she was taken into custody after that.

Sanjjanaa's involvement in the drug scandal was brought to light after two persons in custody Rahul Shetty of Bengaluru and Pruthvi Shetty confessed about their operation.

Earlier, actress Ragini Dwivedi was arrested last week and her custody has been extended till the end of this week. These events unfolded after a television actress, who supplied drugs, was arrested and director Indrajit Lankesh volunteered to reveal the names of actors, music directors and filmmakers involved.
