Tollywood is currently abuzz with the excitement surrounding the Sankranti releases, as top stars like Mahesh Babu, Teja Sajja, Venkatesh, Ravi Teja, and Nagarjuna are gearing up to captivate audiences with their much-anticipated films. The battle for theaters among producers has intensified, with several major films scheduled to hit the screens on the same day.

Amidst the speculation that some movies might step back from the Sankranti race, director Prashanth Varma, the creative force behind Hanu Man, unequivocally declared that his film will indeed be released on the scheduled date despite facing intense pressure to reconsider.

Similarly, the teams behind Ravi Teja's Eagle, Venkatesh's Saindhav, and Nagarjuna's Naa Saami Ranga have confirmed that there will be no change in their respective release dates. An emergency meeting held at the Film Chamber brought together the top producers of these films to discuss the situation. The meeting, initiated at 7:30 PM, is currently underway.

The focus of the meeting revolves around the coordination of the Sankranti movie releases, the competition for theaters among producers, and the need for a collective decision. Post-meeting, the producers are expected to provide clarity on the release dates of their films.

Damodar Prasad, expressing his thoughts on the matter, highlighted that a meeting with producers took place 15 days ago to discuss the ground reality. He appreciated the cooperation of the producers, particularly acknowledging the makers of Ravi Teja's Eagle for their commitment to the scheduled release.

Dil Raju chimed in, addressing concerns about the industry receiving negative attention on social media. He urged media outlets to present the facts accurately and mentioned that a decision was reached collectively during a meeting with the producers who announced Sankranti release dates. Raju emphasized that the increase in the number of films competing this time, with five in total, led to a thoughtful decision-making process.

In conclusion, Dil Raju thanked Ravi Teja and the People's Media for their contributions to the positive development in handling the Sankranti releases. He confirmed that Ravi Teja's Eagle would maintain its release date without any alterations. This collaborative decision-making process reflects a united front among the Tollywood producers, fostering a sense of unity and understanding within the industry.
