Santa Maria
Malayalam's dashing young star Nivin Pauly is acting in a direct Tamil film 'Santa Maria' directed by newcomer Gautham Ramachandran. This yet to be titled film is the Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed Kannada crime thriller 'Ulidavaru Kandanthe'.
Going by the words of Gautham we can not consider the Nivin Pauly's comeback film as a proper remake as he claims to have worked on a the script for more than nine months in order to tweak it according to the sensibilities of Tamil audience. Gautham also revealed that the perfectionist Nivin Pauly was extensively involved in the scripting process.
The other important cast members include Ashok Selvan, Natarajan aka Natty, Shraddha Das, Lakshmi Priya, Prakash Raj, Elango Kumaravel and many others. Actor Vishal's father and popular producer G.K.Reddy is also acting in an important role in this film.
Musical score is being rendered by Ajneesh Loknath, Cinematography is by S.Pandikumar and Editing is by Atul.
The shooting of the film commenced in Tuticorin in June 2016 and has been extensively shot in Coastal areas of Tamil Nadu
