Actor Santhanam is on a high following the success of his first release of the year Dhillukku Dhuddu 2 which was a successful venture. The horror comedy directed by Lollu Sabha Rambhala was the actor's return to form after the failure of Sakka Podu Podu Raja.

Next, Santhanam will be seen on screen in A1 Accused No 1 directed by Johnson, the winner of Naalaya Iyakkunar second season, and the teaser of the movie released already had met with good response. The latest news on this movie making rounds is that, the team is planning to release A1 on July 12.

While an official announcement is expected soon, A1 which is produced by Circle Box entertainment, and the Tamil Nadu distribution rights has been bagged by 18 reels which is producing Santhanam's next movie Dagaalty. The movie co-stars Tara Alisha Berry and has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
