There has been never any dearth of quality comedians in Tamil films.

From NSK down to recent times, Tamil films have been well served by a series of talented comedians.

In recent times, Vadivelu and Vivek have been on top with their unique brand of comedy.

And joining the list is Santhanam. The young comedian acquitted himself in Manmadhan. More recently, he again turned in a good show in Something Something Unakkum Enakkum.

Now, he has again showed his spontaneous talent in Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. Though his character is miniscule, the young man has acquitted himself and now looks on the way to cementing his place in the industry.

As a comedian, Santhanam combines the virtue of Vivek, Vadivelu and Goundamani.

He has come to cinema through TV.
