Sapthamashree Thaskarha,Prithviraj,Krishnanunni

After much accolades that was showered upon his debut film ‘North 24 Kaatham’, here comes another lighter heist thriller in ‘Saptamashree Thaskara’. Like its
Sanskrit title  which conveys the idea of seven gentleman thieves , the movie has Prithviraj and Asif Ali in the lead. Planned as an edge-of-the-seat drama, the
movie is an action- filled adventure filled with desi heist. The movie with an ensemble cast including Prithviraj and Asif Ali is a light-hearted thriller, much
different from the technology-drawn heist films, of our times.

Sapthamashree Thaskarha’ just as its title suggests catches the life of seven thieves, who meet and unite at a prison. Though they come from a different background,
they find reasons to work together for mutual benefits and sets off on a heist mission after completing their team.

Prithviraj plays Krishnanunni, a former bank employee who lands up in jail following certain unexpected incidents. Also in the prison are Shabab, played by Asif Ali,
who is a gulf returnee and Nobleattan, played by Nedumudi Venu, who is an yesteryear businessman. Sudheer Karamana, Chemban Vinod, Neeraj Madhav and Salam Bukhari
complete the rest of the gang. As each of them are not seasoned robbers, but ordinary men who are trapped out of unfortunate situations, the movie follows the ways
they make to land out of troubles.

Reenu Mathews plays Sarah and Sanusha  plays a nurse named Annamma. The movie was also in news recently as its director revealed that it was Prithviraj who
skilfully choreographed the fights featuring Asif Ali.

The scripts by the director has all the seven characters with equally important roles. Set in and around Thrissur, the movie also uses the local slang to built in
light and funny mood out throughout.. The movie cinematographed by Jayesh, has music by Rex Vijayan.

Sapatamasree Thaskara will be on theatres by this Onam.
