Grandeur has always been part of Kollywood and producers opt for innovative ideas to market their films. One such effort involves coming out with contests to ensure a proper visibility of their film among the masses.

After grabbing all the attention coming out with a huge invitation resembling a ‘thayathu’ (a string of beads with religious significance, believed to ward off evil) for the launch of his production venture Muni, director Saran has put up huge hoardings of the film which has a stunning thayathu, attracting the attention of those who pass by them. Mount Road, which is always abuzz with activity, has a large hoarding too and this has evoked a lot of curiosity among those who pass by.

Besides, director Saran has now announced a unique contest as part of his marketing strategy to promote the film, which is slated for a release this February.

Those who are called Muni and Muniyandi can send an entry to Gemini Productions with a certificate of proof for their name. The winner will be chosen after a lucky draw and several prizes await the winner.

Muni, the film, features Raj Kiran, Lawrence Raghavendra and Vethika in prominent roles.

Lawrence Raghavendra is wielding the megaphone while Bharadwaj is scoring the music for this film.
