The pre-release event of 'Savyasachi' was held in Hyderabad on Saturday. Vijay Deverakonda and Koratala Siva graced the occasion as chief guests. The 'Taxiwala' actor bought the first ticket of the upcoming movie for Rs. 1 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramajogayya Sastry said, "No matter how many times songs on the mother are written, they are always sweet. I got the opportunity to write one for this movie. It comes at a crucial juncture in the story."

Anantha Sriram said, "I must say that Keeravani garu, Chandoo Mondeti, and the producers of this movie are ambidextrous. They are that capable!"

Singer Sunitha thanked Keeravani for introducing her daughter, Shreya, with the movie as a singer.

Nidhhi Agerwal said, 'This is really a big day in my life. I was born in Hyderabad. Before coming here, I prepared a speech in Telugu but forgot to bring it due to nervousness. I thank the makers of this movie for introducing me to the Telugu film industry. Naga Chaitanya is a perfect man. I am happy to have got to work with everyone."

MM Keeravani said, "Working on this movie, I felt as happy as I had felt while working with Nagarjuna garu. The title track is by Sivasakthi Dutta garu, my father. I appreciate the singers and the lyricists for their excellent output. I have remixed 'Ninnu roddu meeda' song from 'Allari Alludu' for 'Savyasachi'. It's sad that D Siva Prasad Reddy garu of Kamakshi Movies, who was very close to the Akkineni family and me, has passed away. He used to love the Mohana Ragam a lot. It's upon his insistence that I gave him 'Venu Madhava' song in 'Nenunnanu'. He felt very happy on listening to it. It's sad that he is not here amidst us."

R Madhavan said, "I thank Mythri Movie Makers for bringing me to the Telugu film industry. I am very happy for the production house, which has been delivering hits continuously. I can say that 'Savyasachi' will be a sure shot blockbuster. I must thank Naga Chaitanya. Good-hearted people have worked on the movie. I am a big fan of Chaitanya's parents. I wish that 'Savyasachi' becomes the biggest hit in Chaitanya's career. Vijay Deverakonda has jived on the stage today. He is so sportive. Art director Ramakrishna's sets are amazing. He has erected world-class sets."

Koratala Siva said, "I was in intermediate when 'Allari Alludu' hit the screens. I went to my home after the first day's show and danced to the tune of 'Ninnu roddu meeda'. Mythri Movie Makers' producers are like my family members. They are so committed people. They want to do every filmi n a big way. 'Savyasachi' is a powerful title. I have seen the trailer and it's amazing. My special wishes to Chandoo Mondeti for writing the story. Keeravani garu is a legendary music director and every song is so good. I think 'Savyasachi' will become a very big movie. Madhavan is one of my favourite actors."

Vijay Deverakonda said, "Whenever I see Keeravani garu, I feel like hugging him. But I controlled myself several times because it's not proper to give a hug just like that! I was travelling on a flight when I first met Keeravani garu. I wanted to order food but I was broke. He came forward and paid the bill for me. He is such a sweet person. I am doing 'Dear Comrade' with Mythri Movie Makers.

And there will be one more film in our combination in 2019. I believe that they will surely score a big hit with 'Savyasachi'. I am happy that Madhavan sir has done a straight Telugu movie. His Tamil movies are widely watched by the audience here. I like Naga Chaitanya a lot. The first time when I met him, I could see a chilled, relaxed vibe about him. I don't know if he remembers it, it was ahead of the release of 'Josh' that I first met him.

I came to know that someone I know was conducting an acting workshop for Chaitanya at Annapurna Studios. I wanted to watch it because there was a mild desire in me to become an actor. I thought the gatekeeper won't send me in but I was allowed in. As I entered the hall, only Chaitanya and the trainer were there. Whoever talks about Chaitanya in the industry, they say that Chay is an amazing fellow. Everybody loves him. Off-screen, we actors are good friends."

Producer Naveen Erneni said, "If Mythri Movie Makers is strong today, it's because of Koratala Siva garu. I thank him and Deverakonda for being the guests here. We feel very fortunate that Keeravani garu has done this movie after 'Baahubali-2'."

Naga Chaitanya said, "I thank Koratala Siva garu for coming here. Mr. Rowdy, thank you so much. When I listened to the story, I felt it was so inspiring. I got up this morning hearing a bad news.

Siva Prasad Reddy garu is not with us. He always supported Nanna garu and the Akkineni family. I pray that his bereaved family has the strength to overcome the grief.You fans have always supported us from the beginning. You have supported everyone fromThatha garu to Akhil, Sushanth and Sumanth. Your support has only increased with time. I may disappoint you as an actor, I may energize you with a hit, but what is paramount is that we all should stay together.

Akkineni fans are the best. We do every film sincerely. I know how much Chandoo Mondeti loves the fans. He has come up with a unique point. 'Savyasachi' has got all the essential elements.

This is an all-rounder movie. So many girls have called me up during the making of this movie. Never before did I receive those many calls from girls. They used to show a lot of interest in attending the shoot. When Madhavan garu came on board, I and Chandoo became very confident. He accepts a movie only if there is a novelty."
