Samvrutha is the latest addition to the long list of heroines from the God's Own Country trying her luck in Kollywood.

Acting opposite Srikanth in Uyir, Samvrutha is currently busy pursuing BA literature.

'Though there is stiff competition among actresses today I have resolved not to do glamour roles. Uyir features me in a powerful role.'

Asked about her future aspirations, Samvrutha says, 'I want to establish myself in the industry like Revathy Menon, Shobana and Saritha'.

Heaping praises on Srikanth, she says, 'acting with him is a great learning experience. He makes me feel at ease. Helps to give right emotions'.
