The fiery Tamil activist and the founder of 'Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam', Seeman has announced that he will work in support of the AIADMK alliance in the forthcoming Tamil Nadu State Assembly Elections.

The activist director met MDMK President Vaiko this morning and announced his decision after meeting with the veteran leader.

Seeman has said that the foremost job of him and his organization now is to defeat the “anti-Tamil’ Congress party. As his announcement is just out, the film industry is closely watching the further developments.

Seeman was arrested in July last year for his pro-Tamil speeches and detained under NSA for six months. He was released in December after the Madras High Court on set aside his detention and questioned the validity of his arrest.

Seeman was expected to start his film ‘Pagalavan’ starring Vijay soon. But as he has taken a political stand and the elections are due in May, the prospect of ‘Pagalavan’ is not clear.
