Senthil Ganesh and his wife Rajalakshmi basically folk singers made great headway in the recently concluded Super Singer show in which Senthil became the title winner. Immediately the couple became busy with Kollywood offers and have sung in Sivakarthikeyan's 'Seemaraja' and other films. Their own composition 'Karutha Machaan' was used in the upcoming 'Charlie Chaplin 2' starring Prabhu, Prabhu Deva, Adah Sharma and Nikki Galrani which has become a huge hit.

Now Senthil Ganesh has debuted as hero in a new movie titled 'Kari Mugan' in which a Kerala girl Gayathri plays the female lead. The film is directed by Chella Thangaiah who also takes care of the music and lyrics.

The director has revealed that Senthil Ganesh is playing an electrician who falls in love with a girl he never sees and filming has been going on in Pudukottai district and will be released soon.
