After "Kurbaan", "Chandramukhi" and "Jaanam Samjha Karo", Salman Khan is cast again in a Bubby Kent production, "Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar" opposite Shilpa Shetty.

It's a road Salman has travelled before in "Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam" with Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit. That film dealt with marital relationships and similar is the crux of "Shaadi Karke...".

The film is a family social interspersed with humour and the intense romance of Ayaan (Salman Khan), a young, robust, dynamic and handsome man from an upper middle class family who falls in love with a beautiful model Ahana (Shilpa Shetty) who belongs to a very liberal ultra-rich family from the upper strata of society.

With the passage of time, they get married. Ayaan and Ahana are looking forward to a happily married blissful and contented life, but the future has something else for them.

Gradually, Ahana discovers there is a vast cultural difference between her upbringing and Ayaan's. Small differences crop up which eventually lead to a major confrontation between the two.

Can down-to-earth Ayaan, a strong believer of a united and happy family, maintain his cool and bring his wife and family back to him? Will good sense prevail on Ahana and bridge the differences is what "Shaadi Karke..." is all about.
