Guys, it’s the birthday of Bollywood’s S-exy, H-andsome, A-dorably, H-aunting, I-Indian D-Dude…. SHAHID KAPOOR who turns thirty today. Son of the immensely talented Pankaj Kapoor, Shahid’s journey to stardom is a story directly lifted from a Bollywood blockbuster.

A gifted dancer, Shahid started his journey in Bollywood as an extra in Subhash Ghai’s ‘Taal’ (1999) where he was amongst the group dancers... After 4 years of vigorous continue struggle, Shahid got his due with his debut performance as the young and carefree boy-next-door in ‘Ishk Vishk’ which fetched him the Filmfare Best Male Debut.

Once he was referred as Bollywood next prince charming but today at turning 30 the boy next door has grown up as an actor to reckon with. Shahid's unique style and the ease with which he can handle a range of characters, from the dramatic to the emotional, leave nothing to be wished for! His ability to switch modes from young and restless, to mature and responsible, bespeaks the confidence of a veteran.

In fact, he can boast of having delivered 4 super hits: ‘Vivah’, ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Kaminey’ and ‘Badmaash Company’.

The season of 2011 for Shahid Kapoor stars with ‘Mausam’ an epic love story helmed by his father Pankaj Kapoor where Sonam plays the female lead.

So wish Sasha – our S-exy, H-andsome, A-dorably, H-aunting, I-Indian D-Dude…. Shahid on his 30th birthday by posting your wishes and good luck for the coming ‘mausam’ (read seasons).
