Actress Alia Bhatt has ventured into film production with her upcoming project 'Darlings'. The film went on floors recently and Alia marked her first day of filming with a tweet that read, "day one of DARLINGS! ☀️☀️ my first film as a producer but I will always be an actor first & forever (in this case a very nervous actor)

I don’t know what it is .. a night before I start a new film I get this nervous tingling energy all over my body.. i dream all night about" She also shared a b&w picture of herself getting ready for the shot.

Superstar Shahrukh Khan responded to the tweet by expressing his wish to work in Alia's next production. He wrote, "After this production please sign me up for your next home production little one. I will come in time for the shoot and be very professional..promise!” To this, Alia replied, "hahaha I could ask for nothing more.. done deal signed! Love you my favourite ??"

Shahrukh is also a co-producer of 'Darlings'. The film is dark comedy revolving around a mother daughter duo. It also stars Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma in key roles.
