Shanmuga Pandian joins Vikram and Suriya in the Pongal race

Shanmuga Pandian, the son of Captain Vijaykanth is essaying the lead role in 'Madura Veeran' directed by P.G.Muthiah. The shooting for the film has been wrapped up and the team is involved in post production works. 

The makers of the film have announced the release date of the film to be January 12 as a festive Pongal treat for fans. Thus 'Madura Veeran' has joined the big league comprising Vikram's 'Sketch' and Suriya's 'Thaana Serndha Koottam' for a Pongal clash.

'Madura Veeran' also has an ensemble cast of Meenakshi, Samuthirakani, Mime Gopi, Bala Saravanan and Rajendran as well. The film is being jointly bankrolled by V Studios and P.G.Media Works.
