Criminal complaints have been filed by the actor's family members against Shruti for "conspiring criminally to malign Arjun's image".

Arjun's manager has allegedly claimed that Shruti has created fake accounts to besmirch Arjun's image. As per Shruti, he stated recently that she is receiving payments from foreign sources for disparaging Arjun's image.

For her part, Shruti has accused Arjun's manager of hiring hackers to access her phone records and Facebook activity.
