It seems like actor Sidharth Malhotra is attempting to reinvent himself as an action star. His last film 'Shershah' was a huge success, he's got 'Mission Majnu' lined up and according to the latest announcement, he going to be the leading man of Dharma Productions' first action franchise 'Yodha'. After a few teases on social media, Karan Johar finally announced the project on Thursday by sharing a motion poster and Sidharth's first look.

The clip shared by Karan showed a burning plane seemingly out of control and as the camera pans inside the fuselage, we see Sidharth Malhotra's character sporting tactical gear, wielding an assault rifle and looking all rugged up. Karan captioned the post as, "After conquering the peaks, I am proud to present Sidharth Malhotra back with power in the first of the action franchise by Dharma Productions – #Yodha. Directed by the dynamic duo – Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha. Landing in cinemas near you on 11th November, 2022.”

Karan and Sidharth have a long history of collaborations. It started when Sidharth assisted Karan on the film 'My Name Is Khan'. Then Sidharth made his acting debut in Karan's 'Student Of The Year' and recently Karan produced the war drama 'Shershah'.
