He is active on Instagram and once again became the 'Manmadhan' of Tamil cinema. He is rocking in his new looks and started winning hearts once again. After flaunting his beard for a long time, he recently posted a video of his clean shave looks on Instagram.

Many hearted the video and many were wowed at it. He made headlines when this video of him cooking in new looks went viral. Now, this video has made another record and with that Silambarasan becomes the first Tamil actor to get over 10 million views for a video in a short span.

Silambarasan now has 1.2 million followers on Instagram while Dhanush who his fans call his rival has 2.8 million followers, yet Simbu managed to make a record with his new looks. On a career front, Simbu is awaiting the release of his political thriller 'Maanadu' and he is expected to commence the works for 'Nadhigalile Neeradum Suryan' with Gautham Menon any time soon.
