Atman Simbu will be next seen as a gangster in his upcoming release, 'Pathu Thala'. The actor is currently in Thailand for martial arts training and is expected to return to India this week. He is yet to announce his next project after Pathu Thala.

Meanwhile, reports broke out that Simbu and director Desingh Periyasamy are teaming up under Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International for a new film. It is unclear whether this movie is going to be his near next. Now, sources tell us that this movie will go on the floors on Thursday with a muhurat puja and the official announcement will be made this weekend.

Adding fuel to the latest reports, the Maanadu actor took to social media to share a video clip from one of his old interviews and wrote, "Patience is a virtue. It took a lot of faith but it’s worth the wait #STR48" (sic). The shooting will commence in July 2023. This film will also mark the first collaboration of STR with Rockstar Anirudh.
