The recent few weeks have been abuzz with the news that Thalapathy Vijay was in talks with director Sudha Kongara for his next movie after 'Master' which has wrapped up shooting. It is also common news that Sun Pictures is bankrolling the project.

Recent reports from unconfirmed sources have revealed that Vijay and Sudha could not come to terms in the final round of talks for 'Thalapathy 65' and they are said to have parted ways amicably. The same sources add that Sudha might team up with Simbu with the same story or a different one and that initial talks have already begun. We will have to take this buzz with a pinch of salt though.

Simbu is currently shooting for 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu while Sudha Kongara is awaiting the release of her next biggie 'Soorarai Pottru' starring Suriya in the lead role which is one of the most anticipated films of the year.
