Breaking! Venkat Prabhu to direct Simbu's next - Exciting details

It has been brewing for many years but has now come true. Yes Simbu has given his nod to star in a new movie directed by Venkat Prabhu. Simbu did make a cameo appearance in VP's 'Goa' and the duo have also been planning 'Billa 3'. Sources close to Simbu inform us that a line has been narrated which has made all concerned happy.
The Simbu-Venkat Prabhu project will apparently have Kalaipuli S Thanu and Suresh Kamachi collaborating in the production and A.R. Rahman is expected to score the music. Another source also suggests that talks are on with Gautham Menon to seek permission to film 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya 2'. The all important announcement is expected within a week's time.
Simbu after a tumultous period of a few years proffesionally is back with a bang having completed Mani Ratnam's 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' and has signed projects with Vijaya Productions, Kalaipuli S Thanu, GVM and is also planning to direct for his own banner. Great going bro!
