Superstar Rajinikanth's next movie directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures is already super exciting with the major casting coup of bringing on board Vijay Sethupathi as the villain.

Now the other interesting buzz on this project is that Simran is in talks to play the lead heroine opposite Rajini.  Simran during the nineties was the most sought after leading lady in South India and was considered a lucky mascot for both Vijay and Ajith during their formative years as mass heroes.

Earlier Simran was the first choice for the title role in Rajini's 'Chandramukhi' but had to opt out due to her pregnancy and Jyothika bagged the role.
