Actor Siva Karthikeyan was last seen on screen in the comedy entertainer Mr Local directed by M Rajesh and is currently acting in two movies, PS Mithran directed Hero and Pandiraj directed SK16 and the actor is simultaneously working on both these movies.

Hero produced by KJR Studios was launched first and is the second movie of Mithran after Irumbuthirai. It has been said that this movie will be an action thriller, and also stars Action King Arjun, Bollywood actor Abhay Deol, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Ivana.

Now it has been announced that the title logo and the release date of Hero will be announced officially today 5 PM. The movie has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja who had earlier scored music for Irumbuthirai as well, and cinematography by George C Willams.
