Actor Siva Karthikeyan is currently acting simultaneously in two movies, Irumbuthirai director PS Mithran's Hero produced by KJR Studios and Pandiraj's SK16, which is produced by Sun Pictures. Recently, Mithran's Hero was announced to be releasing on December 20.

Now it has been revealed that SK16's shooting will be finished by August 5, and the first look poster of the movie can be expected anytime soon. The movie is a rural entertainer that will have senior director Bharathiraja in a very important role, and Aishwarya Rajesh playing Siva Karthikeyan's sister.

It has been said that SK16 team is planning to release the movie in September pooja holidays. The movie also stars Anu Emmanuel, Natarajan Subramaniam, RK Suresh, Vela ramamoorthy, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Soori, Archana, and many others, and has music by D Imman.
