Sivakarthikeyan- Nayanthara's 'Velaikaaran' has gone to the censors and the CBFC has awarded the film a clean 'U' certificate making it the number one family destination of the December holiday season when the film hits the screens on the 22nd of December.

'Velaikaaran' directed by Mohan Raja and produced by 24AM Studios has an ensemble cast that includes Fahadh Fazil, Sneha, Robo Shankar, R. J. Balaji, Muniskanth, Prakash Raj, Thambi Ramaiah and Rohini.  Music is by Anirudh, cinematography by Ramji, editing by Ruban and Vivekh Harshan and production design by T. Muthuraj.
