'SKA' record pile up

A mythological, historical and social film 'Srikshetra Adhi Chunchanagiri' is piling up records in the Kannada cinema history.

Firstly the sale of audio CD is a record. For this divine film on the significance of 800 years old 'Adhichunchanagiri' one lakh audio CD was sold in the market by Ashwini Media Network and that is the occasion to issue Platinum Disc for music director, lyricists and singers of the film. On Wednesday night Sri Balagangadharanath Swamiji presented the platinum disc to music director Gurukiran and blessed the film made on his ‘Math’.

A film by Narasimhaiah in the direction of Om Saiprakash event at The Bell Hotel was attended by Ramachandre Gowda, Revanna, Krishnappa, B Vijayakumar, Doddarange Gowda, Abhinaya Sharadhe Jayanthi and others were present at the platinum disc presentation occasion.

The second record from this film is that the investment on the film has already crossed Rs.25 crores. The significance of 'Adhichunchanagiri Kshetra' is so high and that has made 27 MLAs, 2 MP's and two ministers acting in the cinema.

According to music director Gurukiran audio CD sale has happened to a very great level. Gurukiran says 40 percent of Kannada artists have acted in this film.

Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji has appeared in the guest role with Ambarish, Shruthi, Sri Murali, Ramkumar, Harish Raj, Jayanthi, Anu Prabhakar, Mythriyi, Bhumika, Raghav, Padma Vasanthi, Veena Sunder, BC Patil, Ramesh Bhat, Shivakumar, Karibasavaiah, Bullet Prakash, Mohan Juneja, Muni, Sachidananda, Shashikiran Manje Gowda and others.

Sundarnath Suvarana is the cameraman of this lavishly made Kannada cinema. Goturu and Doddarange Gowda have penned the lyrics. Goturi has also penned the dialogues for the film.
