Nayantra, who has emerged a busy actress, has a career plan.

She does not accept films just because they are coming her way.

Curently acting with S J Suryah, Silambarasan, Nayantra says, 'Had I continued to play roles typical to my earlier movies like Ayya and Chandramukhi, I would fallen in an image trap’.

She adds: ‘I want myself to be admired by all. Doing modern roles would certainly take me to close to the masses'.

When people expect me to do glamour role, I have to make some compromise, says this bold actress.

Nayantra is acting in Kalvanin Kadhali with Suryah and with Silambarasan in Vallavan.

Heaping praises on both, she says,'unlike what the audience would expect from a Suryah's film, I play a conservative girl in Kalvanin Kadhali. He is a good actor who improvises a lot on the sets. Equally talented is Silambarasan, who will certainly emerge a good director soon. His work ethics have impressed me'.
