We had reported long back that director Mani Ratnam's next film will be a multi-starrer with the STR, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh and Vijay Sethupathi among others in its ensemble cast and the film will go on floors next year. 

Now the master filmmaker has officially started work on this mega budget project. The song composition session has begun today in Goa, with music director A.R.Rahman and lyricist Vairamuthu who have been continuously associated with the filmmaker for the past 25 years.

Mani-Rahman-Vairamuthu trio has given a lot of eternal super hit sons and music albums and they have started work on their next is an exciting news for Tamil film as well as music buffs.
