No we are not referring to the popular two-wheeler commercial "Appadi Podu, Ippadi Podu". In fact there is a cult song down south which had been rocking people all these years. And now our 'Dabangg' baddie Sonu Sood after listening it has not only loved it a lot but also managed to get it for his forthcoming production.

The song "Appadi Podu" from Tamil hit ‘Ghilli’ is reported to have bought by Sonu to be remade in Hindi for 'Lucky Unlucky'.

Bannered under Sonu Sood Productions, 'Lucky Unlucky' will be directed by Ajay Dhama and will have Sonu and Mallika Sherawat in lead. The movie is reported to be an out-and-out action entertainer.

For the records - 'Ghilli' that released more than seven years back rocked the BO then and set a new record for the lead actors, Vijay and Trisha Krishnan. The film's songs were equally successful and "Appadi Podu" is still famous, not just among Tamil film patrons but is a favourite to many north Indians as well.

"Appadi Podu" had been composed by Vidyasagar, while Krishna Kumar Kunnath and Anuradha Sriram crooned the song.

Sood already worked with Sherawat in the Tamil remake of 'Dabangg', where he plays the same villain's role while Sherawat features as Munni.
