Whoa! Soori and Vetrimaaran combo again after ‘Viduthalai 2’ - ‘Garudan’ glimpse revealed

Soori, a leading comedian in Kollywood, turned into a lead actor in director Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai Part 1'. His upcoming films are Ram's 'Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai' and Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai Part 2'. Now, he has announced his new project for which he is collaborating again with Vetrimaaran.

Soori's next movie is titled 'Garudan', which has a story by Vetrimaaran. This project will be directed by Vetrimaaran's former assistant Durai Senthil Kumar of 'Ethir Neechal' and 'Kodi' fame. Along with Soori, Sasikumar and Unni Mukundan of 'Mallikapuram' fame are playing the lead roles in this upcoming action flick.

'Garudan' was officially announced today with a first-look poster and a glimpse video. The 2-minute clip shows Sasikumar and Unni Mukundan as lords with Soori as their servant. The monologue says that a dog is more loyal than a human always but Sokkan (Soori) is more loyal than a dog. The film seems to be an intense action thriller between these three characters.

'Garudan' is a joint production of Lark Studios and Grassroot Film Company. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music and his score for the glimpse video is an absolute banger. The technical team also comprises Arthur K Wilson as the cinematographer, Pradeep E Ragav as the editor, Durairaj as the art director and Mahesh Mathew as the action director.

The star cast of 'Garudan' boasts Soori, Sasikumar, Unni Mukundan Revathi Sharma, Sshivada, Roshini Haripriyan, Samuthirakani, Mime Gopi, R.V.Udayakumar, Vadivukarasi, Dushyanth, Motta Rajendran, Brigida and many others. The first look poster shows riveting faces of Soori and a dog. The poster and glimpse video are now going viral.
