Director Shankar, who's known for his grand mega-budget extravaganza on screen, had recently delivered the pan Indian blockbuster hit film '2.0' starring Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar. He has now completed around sixty percent shooting of the Kamal Haasan starrer 'Indian 2' produced by Lyca Productions. The film is now stalled because of various reasons including Kamal's political commitments and is expected to resume only after June or July.

Meanwhile as reported by us much earlier to you it was officially announced on February 12th that director Shankar's next biggie has Tollywood megastar Ram Charan as the hero. The film is produced by Dil Raju and talks are on with Rashmika Mandanna and Anirudh for the leading lady and music direction respectively.

Now the hot buzz in Tollywood is that Shankar has approached popular South Korean singer and actress Suzy Bae to play another leading lady in the as-yet untitled project. The 26 year old star has reportedly told a leading magazine in her country about the Shankar project “The concept felt fresh. It’s been a while since I’ve played a character around the same age as me, so that made it feel realistic as well”

There have already been reports that Shankar approached Suzy Bae for an important role in 'Indian 2' and it is still not clear whether she is playing roles in both movies or just one of them, The official confirmation regarding Suzy Bae and the rest of the cast and crew details of the Shankar- Ram Charan project is expected in a few weeks time.
