SPB's health still in critical condition - hospital's official updates

The much-loved multilingual playback singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, testing positive for COVID 19 has been admitted to the MGM Hospital in Chennai from August 5th and his condition suddenly became critical on the 14th. He has ever since been put on life support and he regained consciousness last night and has recognized and responded to the hospital staff.

The hospital has given an official update this evening stating that SPB is still on life support in the intensive care unit and in critical condition. The doctors are monitoring him and hopefully, the coming days bring more positive news regarding the legend.
