According to KJR Studios the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights holder of 'Viswasam' the film has now become the biggest blockbuster ever in this region in Kollywood history.  However, success and failure have never affected Thala Ajith who prefers to just do his job perfectly and get on with his private life.

Boney Kapoor the producer of Thala Ajith's next movie 'AK59' is conducting a pooja on February 24th for the first death anniversary of his wife and legendary actress Sridevi at her Chennai house.  Sridevi's daughters Kushi and Jhanvi along with close relatives are expected to attend.  Speculations have started whether Ajith who avoids most functions over the years will attend the pooja as he is a close family friend of the late actress and is currently acting in his banner as well.

'Thala 59' directed by H. Vinod and music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja has Ajith sharing screen space with Vidya Balan, Shraddha Srinath, Rangaraj Pandey, Adhik Ravichandran and others.  The release has been locked on May 1st which also happens to be Ajith's birthday.
