Srikanth sticks to his guns

Srikanth's recent films, with him as an action hero, have failed.

But Srikanth is unrepentant. "Just because it didn't work, why should I stop from trying out new things? If I'm going to act in love stories for the rest of my life, I'm going to be just another actor."

On playing action-oriented roles, he says, "this was not a sudden shift. I had planned it. There is no point in being a romantic hero for the rest of my life. I want to do something different in each film. I'm trying to prove that I can do action roles too".

Srikanth is currently busy with Kana Kandein to be directed by K V Anand followed by a few offers in the pipeline.
