Srikanth votes in Chennai, inquiry launched

Popular actor Srikanth happened to vote in the South Chennai constituency on April 18, which was the third phase of polling. It has turned out that his name was not there in the electoral rolls. How then could he vote?

Initially, it was believed that Srikanth didn't cast his vote from the constituency. However, with a WhatsApp video showing him as a voter reaching the Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu, a report has been sought from the district electoral officer by the Election Commission.

Srikanth is yet to make a statement on the row.

Another actor to come under the EC's radar is Sivakarthikeyan, the popular Kollywood actor.
