After 'Mirchi', Koratala Siva started a film with Ram Charan in the lead and the film was even launched. But as Ram Charan was not convinced with the story, the film was shelved.

Later Koratala started working for 'Srimanthudu' with Mahesh Babu. Ever since this film was started, speculation has been rife that Mahesh Babu okayed the same script that Ram Charan rejected. But Koratala Siva denied it. He said that the story of Srimanthudu is completely different from that which he narrated to Ram Charan.

'Srimanthudu' will hit the theatres on August 7th.
