Star Maa holds satellite rights of RRR, Pushpa & other major films

Star Maa has gone big by acquiring the satellite rights of a number of big Telugu films being made in Tollywood. The TV channel has revealed the list of biggies it is going to stream in the coming months.

SS Rajamouli-directed 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' is in Star Maa's kitty. The film stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan. Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa', yet another pan-India movie, is also with the channel.
Mahesh Babu's 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' and Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Akhanda' have also been acquired by Star Maa. Nani's 'Tuck Jagadish', a family entertainer, is also in its pocket. Sekhar Kammula-Naga Chaitanya-Sai Pallavi's 'Love Story' and Ravi Teja's 'Khiladi' are also with it. Finally, Akhil Akkineni's 'Most Eligible Bachelor', co-starring Pooja Hegde, is with Star Maa.
'Maestro', starring Nithin and Tamannaah Bhatia, will release directly on Disney+Hotstar. Its satellite rights, too, are with the TV channel.
