Prasanna Vadanam, written and directed by debutant Arjun YK, features Suhas in the protagonist's role. The thriller film hit the screens on May 3 worldwide in Telugu and opened to critical acclaim and decent reviews. However, the makers could have promoted the film more effectively to create more buzz for the opening day. Despite the positive reviews and some edge-of-the-seat moments, the movie's box office figures were disappointing.

Surya (Suhas), an RJ, meets with an unfortunate accident that turns his life upside down. He not only loses his parents but also develops a condition called 'face blindness.' His close friend Vignesh (Harsha Chemudu) knows about his condition and helps him try to live a normal life. Surya falls in love with Aadya (Payal Radhakrishna), and just when life seems to be getting back on track, Surya witnesses a murder. He tries to help the police solve the murder, but his condition prevents him from cooperating fully, and he ends up becoming the accused. The film follows the twists and turns that ensue as Surya tries to clear his name.

Suhas' Prasanna Vadanam has secured a digital streaming deal with Aha Video, the first-ever Telugu-only OTT platform. The makers profited from the OTT deal, and Aha Video reportedly spent a significant amount of money on this film due to several factors. Initially, the movie was set to be available for subscribers after five weeks, but it has been expedited and will now stream from May 24, just three weeks after its theatrical release. It is worth mentioning that Suhas' earlier theatrical release, 'Ambajipeta Marriage Band,' is also streaming on Aha Video.

The movie stars Suhas, Payal Radhakrishna, Rashi Singh, Nandhu, Harsha Chemudu, Nithin Prasanna, Swetha, and Kushalini in pivotal roles. The thriller drama has its entire sound and music composed by Vijay Bulganin. S. Chandrasekharan handled the cinematography, and Karthik Srinivas worked as the editor. The film was bankrolled by Manikanta JS and Prasad Reddy.

Despite the challenges in garnering widespread theatrical appeal, Prasanna Vadanam presents a new opportunity for audiences to experience this compelling thriller with its quick OTT release. Suhas's performance, coupled with the film's unique premise, promises an engaging cinematic experience for viewers on Aha Video.
