Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Enthiran' sequel '2.0' directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions has him playing dual roles as Chitti the robot and his creator the scientist Vaseegaran.  Amy Jackson plays the leading lady who is also a robot in the film.

Akshay Kumar plays the chief antagonist and it is reported that he appears in twelve getups in '2.0'.  The film's songs of A.R. Rahman released earlier have become the most liked across all platforms and audiences are already over eager to watch the SciFi releasing on the 25th of January 2018.
