Superstar Rajinikanth's big actioner, 'Jailer', is close to completion. Amid the busy shooting, he is often spotted on special occasions. Recently, Thalaivar took part in a lavish event and his daughter Soundarya shared his new look from the function on social media. The pictures went viral.

Rajinikanth and Soundarya attended the launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai on Friday, March 31. He was maintaining a bearded look for Jailer for the past few months but he sported a clean-shaven look in yesterday's event. Soundarya took to Twitter to share a couple of photos with her father, Superstar.

Her tweet read: "Mumbai with appa dearest .. at aunty Nita Ambani s cultural center opening night !!! New look semma thalaiva #ThalaivarNewLook" (sic). On the work front, Rajinikanth will start shooting for her daughter Aishwarya's directorial, 'Lal Salaam', after the completion of Jailer. He also has a new cop film with director TJ Gnanavel.
