The release date of 'Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra', starring Suriya, is out. The film will hit Amazon Prime Video on October 30 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Suriya made the surprise announcement, wishing everyone a happy Ganesh Chavithi. This is the first major Kollywood project to hit OTT directly this pandemic.

An action-thriller based on the life of Captain Gopinath, the film is directed by Sudha Kongara. "It’s exciting for a content creator to know that a wide variety of people are going to be watching this film, across the world," the director said.

Recently, the release date of Nani's 'V' was announced. It will hit Amazon Prime Video on September 5.
